Assistant General Manager Requirements & Qualifications


  • 5+ years experience in slot machine maintenance or gaming technical operations
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in a gaming or technical environment
  • Eligible for and able to obtain a Tribal Gaming License
  • Must pass background investigation per TGRA and National Indian Gaming Commission regulations
  • 21 years of age or older with valid driver’s license


Casino Assistant General Manager Preferred Background & Skills


  • Experience in Casino or Tribal gaming operations
  • Certifications in slot machine repair or gaming technology
  • Familiarity with systems such as Aristocrat, IGT, Scientific Games, or Konami
  • Direct experience with casino openings or expansions


Assistant General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and optimal performance of all slot machines and systems
  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of slot technicians, fostering a culture of accountability and guest service
  • Ensure strict compliance with gaming ordinances, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement robust preventative maintenance programs and manage inventory of parts and equipment
  • Collaborate with vendors for repairs, upgrades, and new technology rollouts
  • Respond promptly to gaming floor issues, supporting both guests and staff to ensure a seamless experience
