Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and execution-driven Project Manager to own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle for our customer implementations. This individual will serve as the primary owner from the moment a customer contract is signed through successful installation, testing, and go-live at the customer site.

As the central point of coordination across Sales, Solutions Engineering, Operations, Logistics, and external installation partners, you will ensure deployments are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and takes pride in building scalable processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Deployment Ownership

  • Own the complete deployment lifecycle from signed contract through successful installation and customer go-live.
  • Develop and manage detailed deployment schedules, milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Identify project risks early, proactively resolve blockers, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for every customer deployment.

Project Planning & Solution Delivery

  • Partner closely with Sales and Solutions Engineering to ensure Statements of Work (SOWs) are complete, accurate, and clearly defined before implementation begins.
  • Validate project scope, technical requirements, and customer expectations to ensure deployment readiness.
  • Coordinate implementation activities with Solution Engineers and monitor progress against project timelines.
  • Translate customer requirements and site-specific constraints into executable deployment plans.

Logistics & Warehouse Coordination

  • Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, and third-party logistics providers to coordinate shipping, delivery schedules, and installation readiness.
  • Ensure all hardware, equipment, and assets are properly configured, staged, quality-checked, and ready for deployment prior to shipment.
  • Coordinate installation schedules, equipment returns, replacements, and de-installation activities when required.
  • Track inventory movement and deployment readiness across multiple customer locations.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary customer-facing contact throughout the deployment process.
  • Lead deployment kickoff meetings, communicate project milestones, manage customer expectations, and provide regular project updates.
  • Handle deployment changes, escalations, and issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-deployment reviews to capture feedback, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Develop, document, and continuously improve deployment playbooks, standard operating procedures, checklists, and implementation workflows.
  • Implement scalable deployment processes that support company growth and operational efficiency.
  • Own and maintain deployment tracking systems, dashboards, asset management, and reporting tools.
  • Provide regular deployment status updates, project forecasts, and implementation metrics to executive leadership.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Deployment Management, Implementation Management, Technical Project Management, Technical Program Management, Professional Services, or Field Operations.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through successful completion.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders while driving accountability without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong understanding of Statements of Work (SOWs), implementation planning, project scheduling, and deployment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize competing demands, and perform effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.
