Job Summary:

The Program Manager at our Tooling facility formerly Windsor Mold Group will play a critical role in overseeing multiple projects and programs within our organization, ensuring successful execution and delivery in alignment with our strategic objectives and customer requirements. Program Managers are responsible for overseeing multiple projects or programs within the organization, often spanning the entire product lifecycle from concept to production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive program plans, outlining project scopes, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Lead the execution of program activities, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate activities among various departments involved in program execution, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and logistics. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure efficient project execution and timely resolution of issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding program-related matters, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing customer expectations. Ensure that program deliverables meet customer requirements and specifications, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, tracking expenses, resource allocations, and expenditures to ensure alignment with financial targets. Optimize resource utilization and allocation across multiple projects within the program to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact program success, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address them. Proactively identify and resolve issues that arise during program execution, ensuring timely resolution to minimize disruptions and delays.
  • Establish quality control measures, standards, and processes to ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Ensure quality team is conducting regular quality audits and assessments to verify compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor program performance against established KPIs, timelines, and milestones, preparing regular progress reports, status updates, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Analyze program metrics and performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the program, encouraging team members to identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and innovation. Conduct post-program reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture insights and apply them to future programs, promoting organizational learning and development.

Job Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Engineering degrees such as mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in program management or related roles within the automotive industry or manufacturing sector. Experience managing complex projects or programs is essential, preferably with a focus on automotive parts manufacturing.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and logistics. Effectively coordinate activities across different departments to ensure program success.
