Who You Will Work With:
This role will support Vendor Management Office (VMO) daily processes and ad hoc projects. Work will be delegated based on where specific support isrequired. Being a part of foundational VMO/Finance work that will help to build the function for long term success.

What You Will Do:

  • Being a part of foundational Vendor Management Office (VMO) work that will help to build the function for long term success

  • Providing continuous support and coordination of key activities and initiatives through consultation with cross-functional internal stakeholders

  • Assistingwith day-to-day administrative activities/tasks and deliverables, managing, and prioritizing multiple competing priorities to get to execution of tasks and projects

  • Assist with data migration, dashboard creation, and reporting activities to enhance visibility into vendor performance and compliance

  • Collaborate with VMO Leads to ensure due diligence during vendor onboarding and renewals, including coordinating risk/security assessments and documentation

  • Participate in vendor communications, help prepare materials for pricing discussions, and support cost optimization efforts under VMO guidance

What You Bring:

  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, are client-focused, customer-driven and have an ability to work under pressure

  • Critical thinking: evaluating information objectively, thinking logically and making informed decisions

  • Ability to gather, analyze and synthesize information from various sources and drive conclusions

  • Being proactive and seeking opportunities for improving processes and contributingnew ideas

  • Solidproficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)

  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management & organizational skills

  • Passion about problem-solving and wish to learn more about the payment strategies of leading financial institutions

  • Creative thinking, the ability to generatenew ideasand contribute a fresh perspective to projects

  • Interest in being exposed to functions of the Finance and Risk group

  • Currently completing an undergraduate degree from a creditable Canadian institution with a focus on Business, Finance, Operations & Logistics, or a similar program

  • Although notrequired, you have some familiarity orpreviousexperience with the following:

  • Intern experience in the payments, fintech, or financial institution industry

  • Prior experience with SharePoint, Copilot, and CRM Software (Salesforce)
