Job Description

As the Supply Chain Intern, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing backlog reports and initiate proactive communication with vendors to expedite product procurement
  • Maintaining and monitoring expedite emails daily; provide responses and updates within 24/48hrs
  • Execution of planning processes such as stocking strategies for materials
  • Entry, confirmation and management of purchase orders   
  • Inventory management and flow for assigned material including stock levels and Total Coverage Time 
  • Support Customer Experience team with backlog reports
  • Entry, confirmation, and management of sales orders, including forecast alignment
  • Driving Continuous Improvement initiatives, and automations.
Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled in a college or university program, ideally in supply chain and operations, or a recent graduate (within the last 6 months)
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers and stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, detailed and organized, deadline oriented
  • Motivated, self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision
