The Role:
This Lead, Technical Program Management (TPM) will be a New Product Development (NPD) Lead for the Micro-Environments Business Unit (ME BU) in the Advanced Purity Solutions Division at Entegris. As a key member of the Business Operations Organization, the successful candidate will drive new product delivery and related revenue commitments by working closely with global Business/Product Management, Engineering, and Operations Leaders and their teams. This position will manage NPD and complex strategic programs as groups of related projects for on-time and on-budget product launches by scoping, planning, and driving execution of activities within the global cross functional teams. The candidate will also coach and mentor engineers as project leaders within the various programs to drive execution.
In this role you will:
  • Manage the NPD portfolio with key partners and stakeholders (business, engineering, and operations) to ensure clarity and alignment of priorities.

  • Develop and support metrics-based reporting of results on the portfolio and projects for the assigned BU.

  • Provide and maintain the program structure for managing multiple projects to include communication plans, schedules, milestone and gate adherence, prioritization, and managing resources and budgets.

  • Lead stakeholder updates and drive BU program progress across all levels of the organization.

  • Provide leadership on technical topics, decision making, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.

  • Launch new products via the Stage-Gate Process.

  • Hold the project teams accountable for completing activities, managing/meeting customer expectations, decision making, schedule adherence, communicating status and successful delivery.

  • Lead and own a few key/critical projects in the BU portfolio.

  • Serve as a role model in Program and Project Management for best practices within Entegris.

  • Continuously improve business and program management related processes/tools for efficient project delivery.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
  • BS/MS degree in Engineering, Sciences, or similar technical field or related experience.

  • 8+ years of project and program management experience at a global organization serving the semi-conductor manufacturing or other regulated/high-tech industry (ex: medical device, defense/aerospace, electronics, plastics).

  • Proven track record of displaying leadership skills, and the ability to look at the bigger picture and guide the project teams for successful completion of critical milestones.

  • Ability to adapt to changes to keep the project timeline on track by efficiently managing resources and team.

  • Ability to lead global cross functional teams in the execution of complex tasks.

  • Ability to coach and mentor engineering project leaders in PMO tools and processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization.

  • Being proactive, highly adaptable, and with the ability to drive plans to completion.

  • Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering-related work to efficiently manage programs.

  • Financial acumen and value-driven mindset related to project and portfolio metrics to generate insights and decisions in partnership with global teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to utilize data, visualization, and enterprise AI tools (Microsoft Co-Pilot) to drive automation, simplification, and increased speed and efficiency to deliver new products faster.

  • Ability to manage stakeholders' expectations for successful program execution.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (ex: MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheets)

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
  • Graduate degree in a technical or management field

  • Product Management, Engineering, or Manufacturing scale-up leadership experience

  • PMP or similar certification

  • Delivered new products from end-to-end in a medium to high volume manufacturing environment
