Title: Resource Center Coordinator- SBAC

1Shift: First Shift (United States of America)Summary: Assists with the daily operations of the Resource Center and the Elevate Salon. Trains and supervises the Resource Center and Elevate Salon volunteers. Identifies, develops and updates patient education materials in the Resource Center in cooperation with the Concierge Services Department and Patient Education Department. Educates patients and family members on cancer information and provides support, compassion and access to reliable resources. Assists the Patient Experience and Concierge Departments with the development and implementation of organization-wide educational and Quality of Life grant funded programs, which may include patient outreach and support as well as other basic cancer information. The salary range for this position is $52,979- $67,185 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.Qualifications:Required Education and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Communications or a related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a health or education field; or
2. Associate's degree in a health-related field, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Communications or a related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in a health or education related field; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in a health or education related field.
NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
