Job Description
  • Developing professional and relevant articles.
  • Writing, editing and producing original content with a main focus on growing audiences and donation.
  • Supporting the content teams to shape and fulfill the content plan by original news, features, insight and multimedia content.
  • Online content management, editing, and uploading across websites.
  • Growing audiences through newsletter, social media and distribution platforms.
  • Attending weekly team meetings and biweekly all staff meetings.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the department manager

Qualifications
  • Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week.
  • Excellent writing, editing and journalistic skills with ability to produce content in a fast-paced environment.
  • APA Citation experience is a plus.
  • News and Educational style blogging, writing, or content creation skills.
  • Studying for or have a University degree in Journalism, Business, Arts, or any programs providing strong English language training or candidates with strong English language skills.
  • Experience producing and editing original content is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Passionate about creating engaging content on multiple platforms.
  • Keen to learn, willing to work hard, maintaining productivity and committed to the job.
  • This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).
