The Charis Institute is seeking a part-time research assistant to be a project manager for the Marriage and Family Religion and Spiritual Research Grant funded by the Templeton foundation. This position requires approximately 15 hours of work per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee data entry, track participants who are involved in research and conduct follow-up reminder phone contact with research participants
  • Collaborate with the project researchers on data organization, entry, and management
  • Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings with research collaborators
  • Track research project timeline with the collaborators and consultants

Requirements:
  • Must be a Doctoral student actively enrolled in Counseling or Psychology programs at Regent University
  • Must be a creative problem solver
  • Competence in Microsoft software programs, data management, and research ethics and procedures
  • Comfortability working with research professors and clinicians
  • Commitment to Regent's core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity
