Job description

About the Role:

Language and culture shape your classroom, where Mandarin and English are woven into daily play and routines. Through culturally respectful teaching and strong family partnerships, you support children in expressing themselves with confidence. Your work fosters bilingual development and appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with children primarily in Mandarin throughout the day
  • Support language immersion through songs, stories, routines, and play-based activities
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
  • Observe and support children’s developmental milestones
  • Collaborate with co-teachers to maintain consistent routines and classroom flow
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families
  • Follow licensing, health, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Mandarin
  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Passion for early childhood education and language immersion
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ECE units or willingness to complete required coursework (preferred)
