Job description

Kelly Education is hiring substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for St. Cloud Area School District #742.

Minimum Requirements
Substitute Teacher:
Bachelors degree or higher
Must be able to pass a background check.
Substitute Paraprofessional:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and passing ParaPro exam
If you have Bachelors degree ParaPro exam not required
Must be able to pass a background check.
Pay rates:
Teacher: $160/day
Teacher Retiree: $200/day
Paraprofessional: $17/hour

Teacher Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
Substitute teachers may also be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher.
Paraprofessional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher aides, instructional assistants, classroom assistants or education assistants.
