About the Position

This sales position directs the overall brand-building activities within the assigned territory to maximize product sales, distribution, and profitability. For the swing position, the individual in this role will assist in covering routes as they need coverage within their assigned territory. Candidates will help develop incremental sales, reorders, and new product introduction into existing accounts as well as new accounts. They will also support proper shelf management techniques and introduce brand marketing initiatives, using all available resources to build strong, long-lasting relationships. This position reports to a Borough Manager.

Work Hours and Location

  • Candidates must have weekend availability throughout the year as a part of their regular schedule, as occasional weekend shifts are an essential aspect of this position. Flexibility to work additional hours, including holidays, may also be required based on the needs of the business.
  • This position is for our Brooklyn territory.

Position Overview

  • Develop brand and manage relationships within the designated sales area.
  • Execute and achieve area goals/objectives for volume sales and product distribution.
  • Utilize all sales tools provided by the company including but not limited to marketing brochures, hard/soft P.O.S., samples, etc.
  • Build a strong line of communication with new and existing customers.
  • Ensure all customer accounts are properly services to maximize sales and distribution of all brands.
  • Manage and coordinate merchandising efforts within the sales area.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of promotional programs including monthly, promotional, and chain calendar.
  • Maintain and develop targeted non-buying account lists by customer and brand when working with the appropriate personnel to secure new business.
  • Follow the Big Geyser core brand strategy by using an awareness of the top-selling SKUs for each brand and maintaining proper shelf management for all authorized items.
  • Follow and maintain proper compliance of all Big Geyser refrigeration with regards to products as well as the proper usage of P.O.S., glides, and stickers.
  • Communicate as needed with the Borough Manager and discuss all issues, success stories, and opportunities pertaining to growing business within your area of sales development.
