Job Title:  Client Performance Manager - WFOX TV

Position Overview

Cox Media Group is seeking a Client Performance Manager responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing digital campaigns for key clients while delivering clear, data-driven insights that demonstrate ROI and business impact.

The Client Performance Manager will work closely with CMG sales team members to support digital revenue growth by participating in client needs analysis, contributing strategic insights, and helping present client-facing solutions.

This role serves as a subject matter expert in cross-channel campaign performance and analytics, translating campaign data into compelling client-facing stories that drive retention, growth, and stronger client relationships.

The Client Performance Manager must have a strong understanding of all CMG Local Solutions digital product offerings and how to leverage them to meet client strategic objectives.

This individual will be responsible for campaign management and performance deliverables across their assigned client portfolio, while partnering closely with sales teams to align performance to client goals, support strategic recommendations, and identify opportunities for account growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize digital campaigns to ensure delivery against client goals, KPIs, and budget allocations
  • Track campaign pacing and performance across channels, ensuring alignment with client expectations and evolving strategies
  • Maintain accurate internal documentation including media plans, targeting, optimizations, and performance updates
  • Collaborate with campaign operations and product teams to ensure seamless execution, trafficking, and QA
  • Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities using platforms such as Google Analytics and internal dashboards
  • Translate campaign performance into clear, compelling narratives that demonstrate ROI and business impact
  • Develop and deliver client-facing presentations, performance recaps, and executive summaries for key accounts
  • Present insights in a way that drives strategic conversations, builds client confidence, and uncovers growth opportunities
  • Simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
  • Partner with Account Executives in client meetings to support needs analysis and present performance-driven recommendations
  • Contribute to digital strategy development by aligning campaign performance with client business goals
  • Apply knowledge of CMG solutions to recommend the most effective channel mix and tactics
  • Identify and drive account growth through performance insights, strategic recommendations, and upsell opportunities
  • Educate clients and internal teams on performance trends, measurement, and optimization best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across campaign execution, reporting, and strategy
  • Maintain a strong understanding of internal and external platforms and their impact on campaign performance
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in campaign performance, reporting quality, and overall client experience
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital campaign management, performance marketing, or digital analytics
  • Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta, programmatic, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of cross-channel digital marketing strategies and product offerings
  • Ability to analyze campaign data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Experience creating client-facing reports and presenting performance insights
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into clear, client-friendly narratives
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Domo, etc.)
  • Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications
  • Experience working in a client-facing or sales-support role
  • Familiarity with full-funnel marketing strategies and attribution models
