Pause offers a wide array of science-backed wellness services such as flotation therapy, infrared sauna therapy, cold plunge, cryotherapy, LED light therapy, compression therapy, and IV vitamin infusion (drip) therapy all designed to optimize rest and recovery, reduce stress, increase immunity, and promote self-care. Pause is redefining the spa industry and providing a space that is needed more than ever today.
The location will be at The Walk, a retail complex in Newport Beach at 2135 Westcliff Drive, Suite 100, Newport Beach, CA 92660.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Were seeking a dynamic Sales Coach to support our front desk and team members in effectively converting leads, memberships, and package sales. This role is ideal for someone who excels in B2C consultative sales, team motivation, and in person customer engagement. The Sales Coach will work closely with studio management to improve close rates, train staff in best practices, and drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Coach and motivate team members to meet and exceed sales goals for memberships and service packages.
  • Conduct 1:1 and small group sales training sessions focusing on consultative selling, upselling, and objection handling.
  • Work alongside the front desk team, assess performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with management to create sales scripts, incentive programs, and effective follow up systems.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics; recommend improvements and share insights regularly.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Pause Studios services, packages, and client journey.
  • Support in client facing sales, ensuring a premium and personalized experience.
  • Help with partnership outreach to promote local collaborations and support events
  • Maintain a high level of aesthetic throughout the studio by inspecting our service rooms pre/post use. Maintain a high level of cleanliness through the studio including reception and restrooms.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Minimum 3+ years of B2C sales experience, ideally in health, fitness, or wellness environments, sales management preferred

  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding individual and team sales goals.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coach diverse team personalities.

  • Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • High School Diploma required, college education preferred
