Job Overview

Seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and facilities operations for restaurant locations in the Pittsburgh market. This role requires a strong technician or facilities leader who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, and partnering closely with Operations to ensure efficient and safe restaurant operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee facilities maintenance for restaurants within the Virginia Beach market.
  • Coordinate and manage preventative maintenance programs.
  • Provide hands-on diagnostics and support for:
  • HVAC systems
  • Commercial refrigeration
  • Kitchen equipment
  • Basic electrical and plumbing systems
  • Determine when repairs should be completed internally versus through approved vendors.
  • Manage and track work orders using Corrigo (or similar system).
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
  • Partner with General Managers and Area Leaders to support restaurant performance.
  • Assist with minor remodels, reimages, and equipment replacements as needed.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and control maintenance expenses within budget.


Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or technical experience (restaurant or multi-unit preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the tri-state area of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, generally within a two-hour driving radius, with the majority of work concentrated in the Pittsburgh area.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.


Preferred:

  • QSR or restaurant experience.
  • Trade certifications (HVAC, electrical, refrigeration).
  • Experience using a work order management system.
