Manager Part 145 Repair Station Jobs (NOW HIRING)

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the daily operations of an FAA Part 145 Repair Station production department engaged in the inspection, testing, repair, overhaul, modification, and processing of aircraft components. This position ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with FAA regulations, approved technical data, company policies, and customer requirements while providing leadership, guidance, and support to production personnel.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of component repair technicians and production personnel.
• Plan, assign, and prioritize work to meet production schedules, customer delivery commitments, and qualityobjectives.
• Ensure all maintenance, repair, overhaul, inspection, and testing activities are performed in accordance with FAAregulations, approved technical data, the Repair Station Manual (RSM), Quality Control Manual (QCM), and companyprocedures.
• Verify work is assigned only to qualified and authorized personnel and that technicians have the required tools,materials, and technical data.
• Monitor production workflow, productivity, labor utilization, and schedule adherence while resolving operationalissues and minimizing production delays.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Customer Service to support efficientoperations.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and proper use of personal protectiveequipment (PPE).
• Assist with FAA, customer, and internal audits and implement corrective actions as required.
• Review production documentation for accuracy and completeness and ensure maintenance records are properlycompleted and retained.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate employees, providing training recommendations and supporting employeedevelopment.
• Participate in hiring, employee evaluations, promotions, disciplinary actions, and performance improvementinitiatives.
• Monitor equipment, tooling, and production resources to ensure operational readiness and compliance withcalibration requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Aviation Maintenance or related fieldpreferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of aircraft component maintenance experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience in an FAA Part 145 Repair Station or similaraviation maintenance environment preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations, including 14 CFR Parts 145 and 43.• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or Ability to Obtain a Repairman Certificate preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
• FAA Repairman Certificate
• Experience with Accessory Class I, II, and III components (ATA Chapters)
• Electrical and/or electronics maintenance experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or waste systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret CMMs and IPCs
• Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and calibrated instruments
• Ability to lead by example and support team development
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts).
• Overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays according to production demands.
• Work performed in a production environment.
• Must be able to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol screening.
• Exposure to machinery, aircraft components, chemicals, noise, and moving equipment.
• Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the use of required PPE.
