About The Team:
Internal Communications is a vital part of Invesco's global Corporate Communications team with colleagues in the US, Europe, and Asia. The team helps shape and deliver the firm's narrative internally to strengthen employee engagement, support business priorities in alignment with the firm strategy, and empower leaders to communicate with clarity and impact.

The Role:

As a senior leader on the Internal Communications team, the Internal Communications Director for Investments and Commercial Functions will be responsible for leading and managing communication strategies globally. Reporting to Invesco's Global Head of Internal Communications, you will oversee strategic development and execution of internal communications, helping to engage employees to deliver the firm's strategic priorities, and strengthen a collaborative culture across the firm. This leader will be proactive and forward-looking, anticipating communications needs, shaping narratives early and advising senior leaders through complex business initiatives. This role will lead strategic communication initiatives for the Investments, Distribution, Product, and Marketing capabilities in partnership with senior leaders to advance the firm's priorities.This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping enterprise narratives early, guiding leaders through complex and sensitive business initiatives, and ensuring internal communications drive clarity, alignment, and execution across the firm.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies supporting the Investments and Distribution businesses, aligned to firm priorities and employee engagement with strategy and execution.
  • Partner closely with multiple Executive Leadership Team members to deliver strategic, businessaligned communications.
  • Collaborate across Corporate Communications (including Media Relations) to amplify messaging and ensure consistency across audiences and channels.
  • Lead endtoend internal content strategy, overseeing creation of engaging, relevant content aligned with brand, values, and strategic objectives, and using data and feedback to continuously improve effectiveness.
  • Drive communication for organizational change initiatives, developing targeted plans for impacted stakeholder groups and ensuring employees are informed, supported, and engaged.
  • Monitor, assess, and refine change communication strategies based on effectiveness and stakeholder feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing how priorities are communicated, decisions are understood and alignment is driven across the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and potentially manage communication professionals; foster a highperformance, collaborative culture while leveraging new tools and emerging technologies (including AI), and use metrics, insights and feedback to demonstrate communication impact to the Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements of the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communications or a related field required.
  • 10-15 years of internal communications experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Asset management industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans.
  • Experience leveraging GenAI to simplify workstreams and improve efficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success leading and managing highperforming teams with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Strong project management capabilities, proficiency with modern communication tools and platforms, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
