GCG is looking for an Inside Sales Manager to lead an established team of inside sales professionals within our Connectivity & Power Solutions division! Based in Pewaukee, WI, this role is ideal for a sales leader who can coach performance, create alignment across a distributed team, and help drive consistent execution in support of our customers and business goals.
GCG's Connectivity & Power Solutions division is a leading provider of wire, cable, and connectivity products serving customers across a broad range of industries. We deliver one of the industry's most comprehensive portfolios - from power and industrial cables to Mil-Spec, high-temperature, communication, control, and specialty wire solutions.
Our teams support customers in markets where performance and reliability are critical, including aerospace and defense, automotive and EV, industrial manufacturing, marine and rail, and building technology. In addition to standard products, CPS offers extensive value-added and custom capabilities - including cutting/stripping, labeling, braiding, packaging, and engineered cable designs - enabling us to meet unique application requirements and serve as a connectivity solutions provider.
As Inside Sales Manager, you will lead a team operating across multiple locations. Your focus will be on developing people, strengthening accountability, improving process consistency, and ensuring the team delivers responsive, knowledgeable, and dependable customer support.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement from our offices in Pewaukee, WI.
What you'll do
Lead an Established Inside Sales Team
  • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of inside sales professionals supporting customers across the Western region
  • Create consistency in expectations, communication, processes, and performance management across multiple locations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and high engagement
  • Support onboarding, training, and hiring activities as needed to maintain team capability and continuity
Drive Revenue & Customer Success
  • Set, measure, and exceed team KPIs including revenue, margin, quoting activity, close ratios, new customer acquisition, and wallet-share expansion
  • Ensure your team delivers a consistently exceptional customer experience
  • Stay current on products, competitive trends, and customer needs; share insights with leadership.
Operational Leadership
  • Serve as the primary resource for your team on processes, systems, products, customers, and suppliers
  • Collaborate effectively with outside sales teams and other internal partners to support shared goals
  • Communicate clearly and proactively across all levels of the organization
What you'll bring
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of sales and/or industry experience, ideally in distribution, manufacturing, or a related technical environment
  • Prior commercial leadership experience with responsibility for coaching, hiring, or developing sales talent preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) strongly desired
