Head of Inside SalesGeneral Description/Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the Inside Sales function to support revenue targets, ensure an excellent customer experience, and drive continuous process improvement and standards across the department.

Job Duties (includes but is not limited to):
  • Ensure high-quality customer service in line with company policies, procedures, and service level expectations.

  • Manage response times for customer quotes and orders, ensuring they are handled professionally and escalated when appropriate.

  • Review and validate customer purchase orders for accuracy, pricing, terms, and compliance with company guidelines.

  • Utilize order processing, CRM, and ERP systems to accurately enter, track, and communicate customer requirements across the organization.

  • Foster a high-performance sales culture by providing clear direction, setting measurable goals, and creating a motivating work environment.

  • Provide ongoing sales, systems, and product training to Inside Sales team members and ensure effective onboarding of new hires.

  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance check-ins, and annual performance reviews in line with company guidelines.

  • Support the team directly with customer inquiries and quotation requests through hands-on leadership.

  • Serve as a key liaison between leadership, management, and the Inside Sales team by communicating decisions, answering questions, and supporting issue resolution.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Inside Sales policies, processes, KPIs, and reporting.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Essential Knowledge/Skills:
  • Proven track record of managing teams and consistently meeting sales targets.

  • Extensive knowledge of sales tactics, pipeline management, and regional market dynamics.

  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems with the ability to maintain accurate client data records.

  • Experience working with industrial or technical products.

Qualification Standards:
