The Strategic Development Program (SDP) will take you on a trip through one of our Profit Centers teaching you about every aspect of the business from shipping and receiving, to account management and sales, to operational excellence. This highly involved sales role will put you face to face with contractors in both the Refrigeration and HVAC markets where you will learn the products, systems, and technical requirements of building management systems.

Job Description

Through the development program you will move through 4 phases of development and learning:

1) Warehouse Logistics: Learn the products we sell and how they get from the vendor to the customer and understand the role of sales support.

2) Operations: Get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more…

3) Inside Sales/Project Management:  Go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale projects.

4) Outside Sales/Account Manager Phase: Learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.

  • Post-Secondary Education (preferred but not necessary)
  • Not afraid to "get your hands dirty"
  • Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient with computers and the internet
  • Valid Driver’s license with clean abstract

Additional Information

Salary Range - $45,000 - 50,000

Full benefits, including pension matching & profit share available after probationary period.
