Our client, a company operating in the heavy industrial sector, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support growth across Western Canada. This role is focused on building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding the company’s presence within industrial markets such as oil and gas, mining, power, cement, petrochemical, and related sectors.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new accounts, growing existing customer relationships, and managing the full business development cycle from initial client engagement through proposal, negotiation, and project award. This position involves a significant amount of travel throughout Western Canada, including regular client meetings, site visits, and industry networking.


Key Job Functions


  • Build relationships with new and existing industrial clients
  • Identify new business opportunities across Western Canada
  • Grow revenue through project, maintenance, and shutdown-related work
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, and networking events
  • Gather project details to support proposals and pricing
  • Work with internal teams to prepare competitive client solutions
