We are looking for a Operations Training Manager in Le Sueur, MN.
The Manager Operations Training will drive the on-site training initiatives targeted and prioritized from our strategic planning process, operational priorities and Education & Training (E&T) Pillar Global roadmap. This role will analyze operational training effectiveness and optimize training delivery processes. This role will inspire, motivate, and coach the team to achieve results while fostering agility to adapt to rapidly changing complex environments and aiming towards a continuous learning culture.
What you'll be responsible for each day:
  • This person will lead the local production training strategy operationalization, and execution of site-wide training programs for our manufacturing population to support manufacturing excellence.
  • This role will also collaborate across corporate functional teams to deliver training on corporate initiatives and programs such as Health & Safety, Quality, Operations, Compliance, and Operational Excellence, etc. in alignment with the Education & Training Pillar Global roadmap.
  • Operationalization of the Education & Training (E&T) Pillar Local roadmap in collaboration with the Education & Training (E&T) Global Pillar lead.
  • Procedures and structured training programs aligned to global operations and plant strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Plant Leadership, Human Capital and Operational Functions to align and implement the local training strategy with input from various departments.
  • Lead the local execution of site-wide training operational training programs and delivery to our manufacturing population following a plan do check act approach for continuous improvement and technical skills development. Close operator standard work gaps to ensure employees are fully trained and capable to perform current and evolving work responsibilities.
  • Build, lead and coach a high performing local training team.
  • Lead the local deployment of digital learning tools to enhance accessibility and traceability in line with global roadmap. Explore evaluate and adopt technology and AI to optimize content, development and learning management.

The individual who will own this role:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Minimum five (5) years of learning and development/employee engagement experience required.
  • Operational training experience preferred.
