This is a technical and business development position within the Power Business Unit of Hatch. It provides an opportunity for professional growth to the selected individual within the nuclear power group by engaging in business development and project execution for studies, detailed design and owner's engineering work for our clients. 
The successful candidate will work as part of the Power team and work within the Nuclear Sub-BU in multi-disciplinary teams to undertake/complete assignments flawlessly. Technical knowledge, project management, client engagement, business development, proposal management, and Project Management are core responsibilities. Reporting to the Global Director, Nuclear, and working closely with others in the Nuclear group and the rest of Hatch to ensure that all projects are completed in accordance with applicable codes and standards, Hatch's corporate policies and processes and to the full satisfaction of clients. 

Role & Responsibilities
   Plan, execute and deliver high quality engineering and technical consulting services for nuclear power projects
   Manage assigned studies and projects for clients including interfacing and reporting to clients, monitoring and managing budget and schedules for nuclear power projects or studies;
   Provide mentorship to junior staff on specialized nuclear technical design and the nuclear engineering design process  
   Provide support to other regions in the development and delivery of projects within Hatch;
   Review and approve technical deliverables
   Support business development efforts and strategic initiatives, including preparation of proposals, pursuit plans for the nuclear Sub-BU;
   Manage the proposal process for RFPs, EOIs, RFQs, and other formats  
   Adhere to and promote the Hatch culture.
Qualifications
   Engineering degree from a recognized college
   Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience within the nuclear power industry 
   Experienced working in a consulting engineering environment 
   Experience with light water reactors and advanced reactor designs 
   Ability to manage and motivate individuals to attain quality of deliverables , cost and schedule objectives
   Strong deliverable focus, ability to plan the work
   Broad knowledge of codes and standards for the nuclear industry
   A high degree of understanding of inter-discipline dependencies
   Able to prepare, read, and analyze engineering documents (P&IDs, PFDs, SLDs, plot plans, etc.)
   Proven track record in business development, development and maintenance of client relations;
   Flexibility for short term business travels
   Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of staff and clients (both written and orally);
   Ability to plan and write comprehensive project reports
   Track record of delivering projects on time and to budget;
   Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience within organizations and teams, people manager
   Experience in engineering, procurement and construction, and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies.
