Job Summary
The Global Procurement Manager will lead international sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, and procurement strategies for complex mechanical and electromechanical products. This role will drive cost savings, supplier performance, supply continuity, and inventory optimization while collaborating cross-functionally across global operations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and business requirements.
  • Lead international supplier identification, qualification, negotiations, onboarding, and ongoing performance management across Asia, Europe, and North America.
  • Negotiate and administer supplier agreements to improve cost, lead times, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global procurement team while establishing supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, tariffs, geopolitical conditions, currency fluctuations, and supply chain risks to support strategic procurement decisions and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, logistics, finance, sales, and customer service teams to support production and customer requirements.
  • Manage inventory optimization, supplier capacity planning, audits, business reviews, and ERP/MRP analytics to improve operational efficiency and material availability.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in global strategic sourcing, procurement, and international supplier management within complex, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs).
  • Proven success negotiating supplier agreements and delivering measurable improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, or other highly engineered product environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of international trade compliance, Incoterms, tariffs, global logistics, and supply chain risk management.
  • Strong analytical, financial, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills; Epicor ERP experience preferred. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
