Description:Position Summary

AGSE Tooling is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead our worldwide sourcing and procurement strategy while managing key supplier relationships across North America, Europe, Asia, and other international markets.

This role is responsible for developing sourcing strategies, negotiating supplier agreements, managing procurement operations, mitigating supply chain risk, and leading a growing procurement team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, supplier management expertise, and leadership experience within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure AGSE maintains a reliable, cost-effective, and scalable global supply chain capable of supporting our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives

• Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers across multiple international regions

• Negotiate pricing, lead times, contracts, and long-term supply agreements

• Build strategic supplier partnerships while driving cost reduction initiatives

• Lead supplier performance reviews and corrective action programs

• Develop dual-source and contingency sourcing strategies to reduce supply chain risk

Procurement Leadership

• Lead and develop the procurement team while establishing best practices and performance expectations

• Oversee purchasing activities and supplier management processes

• Support procurement forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier capacity planning

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality requirements

• Utilize ERP and procurement analytics tools to improve efficiency and reporting

Global Supply Chain Strategy

• Monitor market conditions, tariffs, geopolitical impacts, and supply chain risks

• Develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and maintain supply continuity

• Support new product introductions, supplier transitions, and business growth initiatives

• Partner with Logistics and Operations teams to improve supplier delivery performance

• Lead supplier audits, business reviews, and international site visits as needed

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Sales teams to support customer requirements

• Support sourcing activities for machined components, fabricated assemblies, electromechanical products, and indirect spend categories

• Assist with technical supplier evaluations and manufacturing capability assessments

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain organization


Requirements:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field

• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management

• Minimum 4 years of experience leading purchasing, sourcing, or procurement teams

• Experience managing international supplier networks and global sourcing initiatives

• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier development skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms

• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs)

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

• Ability to travel internationally up to four weeks annually

Preferred

• Aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered products experience

• Experience sourcing machined, fabricated, welded, and electromechanical components

• Knowledge of international trade compliance, Incoterms, tariffs, and global logistics

• Experience with supplier audits and quality management systems

• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

• APICS, CPSM, CSCP, or similar supply chain certification

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $125,000 - $140,000

• Bonus: Up to 20% discretionary annual bonus

Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 annually

Work Environment

This role is on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio 45215. Occasional domestic and international travel is required to support supplier audits, business reviews, sourcing initiatives, and strategic supplier development activities. This role deals with international customers and vendors, and off hours may be required at times.
