Role Overview

SodexoMagic is seeking a dynamic and community-driven Manager of Community Relations to support DC Public Schools. This role is responsible for managing and advancing community engagement initiatives that strengthen partnerships, enhance program visibility, and support strategic goals. This position plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing projects that connect stakeholders, promote meaningful engagement, and drive measurable impact across the communities we serve.

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve. For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and execute community relations initiatives aligned with organizational and client goals
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate projects to ensure delivery within timelines and budget parameters
  • Build and maintain partnerships with school leadership, community organizations, and stakeholders
  • Lead and support events, outreach efforts, and engagement campaigns
  • Track project progress, measure outcomes, and provide regular reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between Sodexo, DC Public Schools, and external partners
