SUMMARY
The Community Relations Manager plans, directs, and executes all marketing and sales efforts for their assigned community. The primary goal of the position is to be manage the lead role in maintaining or exceeding target census goals by engaging in lead generating activities and supporting leads through the entire sales process. The Community Relations Manager also serves as the relationship manager for potential leads, current customers, market influencers, and direct referral sources within the established market.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, develop, and execute marketing campaigns which would include but not be limited to external community outreach work and events, open house and related events within the residence, and advertising or branding work.
  • Effectively educates medical community regarding the building's environment and the assisted living services offered to gain appropriate resident referrals.
  • Effectively plan, organize, and manager digital and social media campaigns as deemed appropriate to marketing, leasing, and branding goals.
  • Follows up and executes support tasks related to advertising and promotion activities based on the direction or guidance of the Executive Director.
  • Spend time making sales calls outside the community targeting key contacts such as medical providers, senior influencers, and other potential referral sources.
  • Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding assigned activity and productivity goals as determined by the marketing plan and/or Executive Director.
  • Maintains detailed customer information and sales activities using CRM software and/or internal tracking tools.
  • This position is responsible for planning, preparing, and leading activities that increase traffic to the community such as open houses, community events, volunteers, and other outreach initiatives.
  • Visit residents that are in a short-term facility such as rehabilitation centers, hospitals, or surgery center.
  • This role will establish and maintain key community relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners such as the Alzheimer's Association, AARP, Diabetes Foundations, and so forth.
  • Performs a variety of administrative support tasks with a primary goal of maintaining department organization, admission and lead management, discharge planning, and overall execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the community and increase awareness through participation in outside events, professional groups, and community involvement in the local market as approved by manager.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility records/information, HIPPA.
  • Comply with the Residents Rights and Community Policies and Procedures.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Be familiar with Standard Precautions, Exposure Control Plan, Fire Drill and Evacuation Procedures and know how to use the information.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
