As a Heart of House Team Member, you will prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation standards. You’ll play a key part in delivering a memorable dining experience, while maintaining a top-notch kitchen environment. Get ready to bring your passion for food to life!
What You’ll Do:
  • Prepare menu items following SMG recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food preparation procedures are consistently followed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper food service.
  • Assist with kitchen setup and food preparation for shifts as needed.
  • Support inventory management and track food supplies.
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen areas.
  • Stay updated on new menu items and dishes.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Food Handler Certification required.
  • At least 1 year of previous hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Experience with large-scale food preparation is preferred.
  • Strong cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal or written).
  • Must maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6 to 9 hours).
  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach or twist.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Adherence to proper work attire standards and personal hygiene.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
