Job description

Are you a property management professional who leads with hospitality and thrives in an environment where no two days look the same? Do you love running a complex, high-energy operation while building a community that residents are genuinely proud to be part of? If so, Paseo might be exactly where you belong.

Paseo isn't your average multifamily property. It's a 48-story mixed-use tower in the heart of Austin's iconic Rainey Street district, home to 498 luxury residences, four penthouses, a 12th-floor rooftop pool and bar with views of Lady Bird Lake, a ground-level café and bar, two floors of coworking space, a full wellness center with yoga studio, cold plunge and saunas, a boutique hotel (ROOST Rainey), and an Artist in Residence program that reflects LV Collective's deep belief in the power of art and culture. This is an experiential living community, and the Community Manager sets the tone for all of it.

The right candidate for this position will be energetic, organized, and curious, with a passion for all things operations, leasing, and resident experience.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and resolves them with ease.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • A dynamic communicator with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Energetic and positive, thriving in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Passionate about resident experience and the culture of a one-of-a-kind property.
  • Motivated by goals and driven to exceed leasing and occupancy targets.
Job Responsibilities

Operations & Leadership

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of Paseo to ensure a seamless, elevated living experience across a complex, mixed-use asset.
  • Lead and develop the on-site leasing, maintenance, and office team, fostering a high-performance culture that reflects the Paseo brand.
  • Work with the corporate team to ensure smooth and ongoing property operations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate property records including leases, financial reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
  • Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and invoices to optimize property performance.
  • Ensure the community is beautifully maintained, safe, and compliant at all times.
  • Coordinate closely with ROOST Rainey hotel operations, retail tenants, and F&B concepts to ensure a cohesive building experience.

Resident Relations & Community Engagement

  • Be the face of Paseo for residents, handling concerns, lease questions, and requests with urgency and genuine warmth.
  • Champion the Artist in Residence program and other creative community initiatives that set Paseo apart.
  • Plan and execute resident programming and events that reflect the energy and culture of Rainey Street.
  • Build a community where residents feel connected to the building, to each other, and to the neighborhood.

Financial Performance & Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the property's annual budget, cash flow, and revenue strategies to hit financial goals.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, identify variances, and implement corrective strategies.
  • Maintain accurate rent collections, delinquency tracking, and occupancy reporting.
  • Stay within budget and manage resources with the long-term health of the asset in mind.

Marketing & Leasing Support

  • Partner with the leasing team to drive occupancy and retention through creative strategies that match Paseo's luxury positioning.
  • Monitor the downtown Austin market and competitive landscape and adjust accordingly.
  • Ensure every prospect and resident interaction reflects the Paseo brand with consistency and intention.
  • Work closely with ownership, leasing, and corporate teams to share updates, address challenges, and drive success.

Requirements

    • 4+ years in property management, with multifamily or luxury high-rise experience strongly preferred.
    • Experience managing a complex, mixed-use or amenity-rich asset is a significant plus.
    • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving revenue.
    • Proficiency in property management software (Entrata preferred), Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
    • Proven leadership with a track record of building and retaining high-performing teams.
    • A hospitality-first mindset and genuine passion for the resident experience.
    • Deep familiarity with the Austin market and an understanding of what luxury renters expect downtown.
    • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and wired with a GSD attitude.

Bonus Points If…

    • You have experience opening or stabilizing a new development property.
    • You've managed a mixed-use building with hotel, retail, or F&B components.
    • You're an Entrata power user who leverages data to make decisions.
    • You love planning programming and events that actually bring a community together.
