Job Summary:
As an Admissions Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting theadmissions process and helping maintain full occupancy across all programlevels. You will assist with coordinating referrals, managing admissiondocumentation, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition for newresidents. This position works closely with the Admissions Coordinator andmultidisciplinary teams to support efficient operations and excellent customerservice.
Key Responsibilities:
โ€ข Coordinate all aspects of admissions, including referrals, communication withNursing Services, paperwork collection, processing, and resident orientation
โ€ข Assist with admissions placement and support campus-wide referral management
โ€ข Participate in admission meetings and provide updates in the absence of theAdmissions Coordinator
โ€ข Maintain daily census records and generate daily, monthly, and annual reports
โ€ข Manage inquiry and waiting lists to support maximum occupancy, includingmaintaining a prospect database
โ€ข Act as a liaison between referral sources and the organization as directed
โ€ข Provide tours to prospective residents and families
โ€ข Prepare and distribute informational packets for prospective admissions
โ€ข Escort new residents during program entry to ensure a smooth transition
โ€ข Support organizational decision-making by providing accurate admissions dataand insights
โ€ข Independently manage daily workload, priorities, and deadlines
โ€ข Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident and organizationalinformation
โ€ข Support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and recommend processenhancements
โ€ข Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizationalpolicies
โ€ข Promote a culture of safety and maintain professional relationships withstaff, community members, and agencies
โ€ข Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
โ€ข Education: High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
โ€ข Experience: Background in business administration, healthcare, or relatedprofessional experience preferred
โ€ข Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information
Working Conditions:
