Requirements

Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting
  • Support the financial performance of the community through accurate accounting, reporting, and revenue management practices.
  • Collect, post, and reconcile rent payments, fees, deposits, and other resident charges.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and complete account reconciliations.
  • Review and process invoices for vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Ensure expenses are coded correctly and submitted according to company procedures.
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting, budget tracking, and community performance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate resident accounts and accounting records within property management software.
Resident Relations & Customer Experience
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to questions, concerns, and service requests with urgency and professionalism.
  • Communicate with residents regarding account balances, payment arrangements, and lease compliance matters.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and resident issue management while maintaining a positive community environment.
  • Support resident engagement initiatives and help foster a strong sense of community.
Leasing & Revenue Management
  • Assist with leasing and marketing efforts to drive occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Greet prospective residents, conduct community tours, and showcase apartment homes and amenities.
  • Support leasing activities including guest card management, application processing, lease execution, and move-in coordination.
  • Monitor delinquency reports and implement collection efforts in accordance with company policies and lease agreements.
  • Support renewal strategies and resident retention initiatives.
Operations & Team Leadership
  • Serve as the acting leader of the community in the absence of the General Manager.
  • Assist in coordinating daily operations between leasing, resident services, and maintenance teams.
  • Help oversee make-ready schedules, maintenance priorities, and operational workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Support training, coaching, and development efforts for on-site team members.
  • Partner with vendors and contractors to ensure quality service and timely completion of work.
Ownership & Asset Support
  • Assist in maintaining strong relationships with ownership groups and stakeholders.
  • Participate in community tours, owner visits, and operational reviews.
  • Provide updates, reporting, and operational insights as requested.
  • Support initiatives that improve community performance, resident experience, and asset value.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Follow established procedures related to collections, lease enforcement, notices, and eviction processes.
  • Assist with resident move-out processing, security deposit accounting, and final account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operational and financial activities.
Other
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ability to work late or on weekends may be required.
RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in property management, student housing, multifamily housing, residence life, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting community operations, leasing, financial reporting, and customer service initiatives.
  • Understanding of lease administration, collections, delinquency management, and resident account reconciliation.
  • Experience using property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license required.
