Job description

Amazon Studios is responsible for producing and acquiring compelling, exclusive Original content for our massive global base of Amazon Prime Video customers. As the home of Original shows and movies like the post-apocalyptic drama Fallout and the buddy cop action comedy The Wrecking Crew, we need your passion and innovative ideas to help take us to new heights.
We're seeking a Finance Manager to join our team. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Amazon Original Movies team, with direct ownership of cost forecasting and tracking across Streaming Film, Hybrid Film, and Development spend

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing cross functional financial processes, and will have a strong track record of building reports, models, and processes from scratch, preferably in the entertainment industry. Additionally, the Finance Manager will support the Studios Finance team on FP&A, including the long range planning process.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate and complete financial forecasting and reporting for Studios Finance and Amazon Original Movies business stakeholders.
- Create complex financial models to improve P&L and cash forecasts. This will require developing robust analytical frameworks and also the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams throughout the organization to gather inputs and build reporting processes.
- Collaborate across multiple studio creative, strategy, production, and production finance teams to understand the business plan and how it translates to financial statements


- Build out financial models, reports, trackers, cross functional processes from scratch.
- Execute opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Implement strategies to increase the efficiency of our financial processes.

This role requires strong financial modelling skills, keen attention to detail and the ability to influence at the working level to drive the organization to the right result. This role has regular interaction with multiple teams across Amazon Studios and Prime Video, and requires strong communication skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve

The successful candidate will have operated in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and will be able to prioritize multiple projects.
