Job description

Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.


The Digital Marketing Manager, Movies sits within the global social and influencer marketing team for Amazon MGM Studios. You will be responsible for developing and executing smart, data-driven, highly creative and inventive digital and social marketing campaigns for their assigned titles, across both Theatrical and Streaming distribution. You will develop these marketing strategies globally, setting a high-bar for innovation, passion and operational excellence.

You will be helping to oversee digital and social marketing strategy and campaigns, experiential activations, material launches, AR/VR, social community management, and more.
The Digital Marketing Manager, Movies inspires and proactively contributes to the cross-functional marketing team for a subset of Amazon MGM Studios' film slate across both Theatrical and Streaming. Reporting directly into the Head of Movies Digital Marketing for Amazon MGM Studios, you will act as a collaborative stakeholder across marketing globally, ensuring the highest standards for consistency and quality are maintained to drive moviegoers to theaters on theatrical films and drive viewership and attract new customers to Prime Video on streaming originals.

The optimal candidate for this role will have experience in working on digital marketing campaigns as well as building deep partnerships with creative agencies. You are able to fluidly shift from analytical discussions to strategy to operational to creative to logistics. You would serve as one of the key internal points of contact for digital marketing campaigns globally, so strategic judgment, creative acumen, logistical excellence, awareness of industry trends and ability to think big must be robust.

Finally, the ideal candidate must thrive operating in a startup environment, where leaders are owners, wear multiple hats, and effortlessly think and act both strategically and tactically - from the development of broad strategic ideas to execution.

- Be a part of the team creating digital marketing campaigns for their assigned Theatrical and Streaming Amazon MGM Studios films.
- Guide the creation of world-class, break-through digital and social marketing strategies that support and reinforces Amazon MGM Studios in the film marketplace, in keeping with the business and marketing strategy for the brand.
- Develop inventive, strategic influencer marketing campaigns that inspire our customers while driving awareness and viewership


- Contribute strong strategic thinking to ideate and develop innovative, effective, and award-winning digital marketing experiences.
- Raise the bar on social marketing globally. Work with the international teams for implementing this vision and strategy across all territories.
