Overview

To develop strategically sound communication plans tackling key client challenges. 

To lead on digital media plan selection, quality of execution and operational excellence. 

To ensure world-class client service and account management, working alongside direct reports. 

To lead day-to-day client and agency team management. 

Should have good organizational skills in handling a number of projects at the same time, being able to set priorities, keep to deadlines, work effectively under time pressure

Be able to identify and tackle key client business challenges, leveraging agency solutions to unlock growth for clients. 

Develop an expert understanding of the client's business, their products, services, customer profile, marketing and business objectives, competitors and sales.

Expert knowledge of the media market place and opportunities available

Sound knowledge of digital & offline advertising & marketing technologies. 

A good grasp of strategic digital communications planning and acting in a consultant capacity to the client.

Understand how research is conducted for all the major media e.g. Expertise in all relevant industry software and systems: Statex, Z-Plan, GWI, SimilarWeb, EuroMonitor

Be able to develop a good rapport with media owners and colleagues within Starcom and the partner agencies.

Lead the development and execution of media plans across multiple clients and industries.

Work along with reporting manager taking into account both the client's and the agency's key performance indicators.

Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, including setting priorities, meeting deadlines, translating strategies into innovative media, and working well under pressure.

Build a strong rapport with clients and business partners.

Quality control for all media planning.

Overseeing team on day-to-day projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective media strategies. 

Manage day-to-day client relationships and communications. 

Mentor and guide junior planning team members.

Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Product

Understand client's overall business and marketing objectives displaying a sound knowledge of all media, including TV, print, radio, Outdoor and Online. Working efficiently as part of an overall integrated team

Be an analytical-first thinker with the ability to digest and analyze data in order to come to insights that lead to competitive advantage for our clients.

Expertise in all research data, including client research such as: Sales Data, Awareness tracking, Competitive Data etc.

Be familiar with and able to sell advanced research tools

Ability to understand media briefs and develop media strategies accordingly 

Experience of monitoring, reporting, and analyzing metrics data.

High project management and organizational skills

Performing thorough, insightful campaign analysis, including reporting and optimization recommendations.

To build a relationship with client and agency counterparts (e.g. Brand Managers, Account Execs/Account Managers)

Ability to comprehend a client's requirements, pose appropriate inquiries, and devise a plan for utilizing media outlets (including creating a media plan and offering suggestions) in accordance with the client's goals.

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and market research.

Strong grasp of industry trends and best practices.

Ability to work on MS Office 365 software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc..).

Expert level knowledge of and experience with various media planning and buying tools and platforms, such as Z/X Plan, Statex, Global web Index(GWI), Euromonitor, World Advertising Research Center (WARC), Similar Web, etc.

Expert knowledge of various industry digital planning tools such as DV360, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Snap Chat Ads Manager, Twitter Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager.

Expert in research data, including client research such as: Sales Data, Brand Health Tracker, Awareness tracking, Competitive Data etc.

Familiar with and able to describe the characteristics and advantages of the Group's various products and services.

Knowledge of digital media and emerging technologies.

Strong commercial acumen, able to understand the importance of driving ROI and able to create ROI opportunities for both business partners and agency whilst being both efficient and effective.

Understanding of client's overall business and marketing objectives, displaying a sound knowledge of all media (Offline & Online).

Ability to work efficiently as part of an overall integrated team.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.

7-9 years of experience in media planning or related role. 

Proven ability to mentor and lead a team of planning managers.

Digital Certifications across the major platforms, including Meta (FB & IG), Google, Snap Chat, Twitter & TikTok, in addition to familiarity in industry developments & initiatives I.e.: commerce, Metaverse, NFTs, etc... 

Experience in business development.
