Brief Description

The Membership Marketing Promotions Manager helps lead the development and execution of fully integrated marketing strategies and campaigns that drive member acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role focuses on delivering measurable value to members by promoting CAP’s full portfolio, including membership benefits, education offerings, and events through clear, compelling, and audience-focused marketing.

Specific Duties

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Help develop the execution of integrated marketing strategies to drive membership growth, engagement, and retention aligned with organizational goals and KPIs
  • Help define audience segments and member journeys to improve targeting, personalization, and overall member experience
  • In partnership with agencies plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (digital, email, content, events) to support membership and education offerings
  • Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with member needs, business priorities, and Voice of the Member insights
  • Develop clear, compelling messaging that communicates CAP’s value proposition and ensures brand consistency across all channels
  • Establish and drive scalable marketing planning frameworks and processes that enable agile, collaborative campaign development.
  • Oversee content strategy and creation to support thought leadership, education, and member engagement
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including website content, SEO, GEO, social media campaigns, and lead generation strategies to drive visibility and conversions
  • Analyze campaign and member data to measure performance, optimize outcomes, and inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support lead generation, conversion, and revenue goals
  • Support marketing and promotion of education programs, events, and business development initiatives
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources to maximize impact and ROI

Knowledge/Skills Required/Preferred

  • The ability to lead, educate, and influence people across different departments
  • Coordinate/manage projects, meetings and cross-functional teams
  • Keeps up with current, innovative marketing strategies
  • Builds strong partnerships through collaboration with internal and external business partners

Professional:

  • Stays current on emerging marketing technologies and trends (e.g., AI, automation, personalization tools), proactively identifying opportunities to enhance performance and member experience
  • Demonstrates a test-and-learn mindset, applying innovative approaches and new tools to optimize campaigns, improve efficiency, and drive measurable results

Technical:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products
  • Google Analytics
  • Qualitative and Quantitative Market Research/Analysis
  • ChatGPT, CoPilot, and other AI tools and agents

Education/Experience

Education

  • College degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Experience

  • 3+ years in progressively complex, results oriented marketing management
  • Associations or healthcare experience is a plus

Additional Criteria

Up to 10% of travel required including some weekend travel

Candidates are required to live within 75-miles of Northfield, IL and meet in-office requirements.

Salary: $100,000 - $128,000
