The logistician is responsible for managing logistics operations, property accountability, and procurement activities in support of the MACC-TTE environment. This role ensures the efficient tracking, acquisition, and distribution of government property while maintaining strict compliance with federal and DoD regulations. 

Location: Camp Atterbury (Edinburgh, IN) and Muscatatuck Urban Training Center (Butlerville, IN)

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cyclic inventory, accountability, and distribution of all property associated with MACC-TTE 
  • Oversee procurement of goods and services using systems such as CHESS and GFEBS 
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition      Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 
  • Conduct market research and support sourcing strategies to meet mission requirements 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and government stakeholders to execute contracts effectively 
  • Perform supply operations including ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking supplies 
  • Expedite delivery of critical materials and identify alternative sourcing solutions when needed 
  • Maintain property accountability, including hand receipt management and inventory control for Army property 
  • Support logistics planning and execution for operational and training environments 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the Army Supply and Services Career Management Field 
  • At least 3 years of procurement or contracting experience in a government or military environment 
  • Experience supporting Army logistics operations, including supply chain and property accountability functions 
  • Hands-on experience with procurement systems such as CHESS and GFEBS 
  • Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and Army procurement policies and procedures 
  • Experience managing inventories, hand receipts, and government property accountability
