Job description

We are looking for a Sales Training Specialist to join our Home Office Team in Bloomington, MN. As the Sales Training Specialist, you will support the Learning & Development Department and our portfolio of communities by leading the development and execution of our sales training programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Needs Assessment & Curriculum Development: Drive operational goals by developing and delivering training to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. You will lead company-wide initiatives and host live training sessions.
  • Targeted Coaching: Review the leasing activity of communities experiencing occupancy challenges to identify additional training opportunities, providing extra coaching and leasing resources where needed.
  • Yardi CRM IQ Training & Support: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our Yardi CRM IQ system. You’ll assist with optimizing workflows, manage the CRM IQ Academy, and develop training resources like video tutorials and quick reference guides.
  • Leasing Mentor Program Manager: Mentor, coach, recruit, and onboard new Leasing Mentors. You will partner with Community Managers to ensure smooth new-hire onboarding, design accountability metrics to track program success, and ensure the timely payment of Mentor incentives.
  • Impact Tracking: Develop and implement a structured evaluation framework to track key leasing metrics, measuring the direct impact and ROI of your sales support initiatives.
  • Internal Communication: Reinforce job expectations and share fun sales training opportunities and tips via announcements on the company intranet platform.
  • Resource Management: Maintain an up-to-date library of support resources and learning plans to ensure effective deployment of systems and selling skills to achieve KPIs.
  • Future-Forward Leasing: Maximize the utilization of AI and other automated functions to enhance leasing efforts.
  • Team Support: Provide exceptional customer service to our team members, troubleshooting concerns and assisting in creating proactive action plans.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Previous experience within Property Management
  • Yardi experience strongly preferred
  • Sales experience strongly preferred
  • Desire to learn and grow as a multi-family learning professional
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent management and prioritization of tasks
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
