Job description

Overview

Clarity is seeking a Learning Strategy Consultant to lead a Learning Needs Analysis for our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of commercial jetliners, and in the development of advanced defense, space, and security systems. The engagement will support the client's Supply Chain Strategy team in designing and developing a comprehensive learning strategy for a highly technical, senior-level audience of approximately 100 professionals. This engagement will focus on building a structured curriculum that enhances strategic thinking, executive presence, and communication effectiveness across the organization.

Scope of Work

  • Conduct a Learning Needs Analysis to assess current capability gaps and development opportunities
  • Design a comprehensive curriculum roadmap aligned to organizational goals and leadership expectations
  • Develop a structured learning journey across the following core areas:
  • Strategic thinking and strategy development
  • Storytelling for business impact
  • Executive-level presentation skills
  • Data visualization
  • Fundamentals of project management
  • Curate and recommend training resources, including articles, videos, and external/internal content (buy/borrow/build approach)
  • Create templates, tools, and standardized resources to ensure consistency across the organization
  • Recommend a layered development program, including quick wins and long-term capability building
  • Outline a proposed 4-week program to be delivered over a 6–9 month period, incorporating both self-paced and instructor-led training (ILT) components
  • Provide recommendations for future phases of work and areas for additional development support

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Learning Strategist or Learning & Development Consultant
  • Demonstrated ability to design curriculum for senior, technical audiences
  • Expertise in leadership development topics such as strategy, storytelling, and executive communication
  • Experience working with Supply Chain organizations (preferred)
  • Experience supporting highly technical or engineering-focused teams, ideally in complex industries such as aerospace (preferred)
  • Strong consultative mindset with the ability to provide strategic guidance and actionable recommendations

Engagement Details

  • Contract role (no people management responsibilities)
  • Consultant will be expected to work independently and provide their own equipment and tool licenses
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word required
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is a plus (subject to organizational policies)

The pay range for this is $70.00 to $80.00 per hour on an W2 basis. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
