Knowledge Manager
K2 Group is seeking a Knowledge Manager in support of Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Provost Marshal/Protection Support Services (PM/PSS). IMCOM PM/PSS is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of its installations through robust protection plans in the areas of risk management, antiterrorism, physical security, and emergency management, culminating in up to 29 assessments annually.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a centralized Knowledge Management framework tailored for military installation and emergency management.
  • Design, build, and maintain unclassified and classified collaboration portals (via SharePoint or similar approved technology) to serve as the unified repository for garrison documentation.
  • Implement structured version control and systematic workflows using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to manage complex HHA data pipelines.
  • Aggregate, synthesize, and analyze Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) submitted by installations to extract actionable insights.
  • Leverage advanced data science and trend analysis to refine 60% to 75% of assessment criteria, tracking historical deficiencies to preemptive vulnerabilities.
  • Produce and publish formal Lessons Learned Trends Reports on a quarterly basis to enhance future evaluation frameworks and inform broader security policy.
  • Maintain a live Corrective Action Plan Tracker to monitor and report garrison compliance metrics
  • Collaborate daily with HQ IMCOM and installation protection staff across multiple program areas (e.g., Risk Management, Antiterrorism, Emergency Management, Cyber, Operations Security).
  • Build and oversee a comprehensive project management timeline, ensuring at least 90% of key milestones and deliverable targets are systematically met.
  • Facilitate In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) and post-assessment debriefs, ensuring 100% completion within required timeframes while integrating installation feedback.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of direct experience in information systems management, data analytics, knowledge management, or military assessment/inspection roles.
  • Expert proficiency with enterprise SharePoint (both NIPRNET and SIPRNET environments), Microsoft Excel (advanced tracking and charting), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Deep understanding of structuring unstructured data, taxonomy, and access-control settings for classified/unclassified spaces.
  • Proven ability to spot qualitative and quantitative patterns across disparate assessment events and translate them into root-cause metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large data sets, perform trend analysis, and produce decision-quality reports.
  • Prior experience supporting DoW or Army Protection Programs (e.g., Physical Security, AT, OPSEC, CBRNE, or Emergency Management) is highly preferred.
