Job Functions:

Assist in problem solving with company software.

·

Preventative Maintenance Management: Schedule and log preventative maintenance tasks, order required fluids and parts, and maintain related spreadsheets. Ensure upkeep of cutting fluids and gear-cutting hob maintenance.

·

Tooling and Consumables Management: Monitor stock of drills, endmills, and other common tools. Implement and sustain Kanban stocking methods to ensure availability and reduce downtime.

·

Job Entry and Administrative Support: Create jobs in ERP, prepare travelers, prints, and inspection reports, and issue order acknowledgments using established templates. Maintain organized Excel spreadsheets and support company software problem solving.

·

Purchase Order and Vendor Tracking: Track delivery status for outsourced components and outside services, coordinating with vendors to ensure timely completion.

·

Shop Scheduling and Tasking: Assist with basic scheduling by physically moving jobs to designated work centers and helping assign weekend crew tasks to maintain production flow.

·

Fixture and Process Support: Provide assistance with simple fixture designs and collaborate with engineering on straightforward process improvements.

·

Material Management: Support inventory accuracy through periodic counts, audits, and reconciliation of materials.

·

Create and issue Purchase Orders for third party services and consumable goods

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Strong computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping, logs, and inventory management.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration.
