The successful candidate will inherit a stable Canadian business while leading the next stage of growth in the United States. This role combines commercial leadership, organizational development, operational alignment, and full P&L accountability.

This is an opportunity to lead a growing business, complete an ongoing turnaround journey, and significantly expand revenue and market presence across North America.

What You'll Do

Business Leadership & P&L Ownership

· Lead commercial performance and business results across the U.S. and Canada.

· Own revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and strategic planning.

· Drive execution against financial and operational objectives.

· Ensure effective collaboration between Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance functions.

· Build a culture of accountability, communication, and operational excellence.

Growth & Market Expansion

· Develop and execute market growth strategies across key segments and geographies.

· Accelerate growth within the U.S. market while maintaining strong performance in Canada.

· Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and growth channels.

· Evaluate and optimize go-to-market strategies across multiple customer segments.

Commercial Leadership

· Lead, coach, and develop a commercial organization across North America.

· Support key customer negotiations and strategic account relationships.

· Drive specification sales, channel sales, distribution partnerships, and project opportunities.

· Ensure effective sales forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial discipline.

Cross-Functional Leadership

· Partner closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Marketing teams.

· Translate business strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

· Champion organizational alignment and process improvement initiatives.

· Serve as a key member of the North American leadership team.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.

· 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience.

· 5+ years leading and developing sales or commercial teams.

· Demonstrated P&L ownership and business management experience.

· Experience driving growth, business transformation, or turnaround initiatives.

· Strong commercial acumen with proven forecasting and pricing experience.

· Ability to lead across multiple business functions and influence stakeholders.

· Experience within building products, construction materials, water management, infrastructure, drainage, utility, pipe systems, or related industries.

· Valid passport & willingness to travel approximately 50%-60% throughout the U.S. and Canada is required.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience managing both specification-driven sales and channel/distribution sales models.

· Strong network of relationships across contractors, distributors, architects, engineers, developers, or home builders.

· Experience in a multinational organization.

· MBA or advanced degree is a plus

Who Will Be Successful

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a growing business environment.

You enjoy:

· Building and scaling businesses

· Leading through influence and collaboration

· Solving operational and commercial challenges

· Working across multiple functions

· Driving change and continuous improvement

· Balancing strategic thinking with execution

· You are not looking for a large corporate structure with extensive support resources. Instead, you are energized by the opportunity to make a visible impact, wear multiple hats, and help shape the future of a growing business.

Why Join Wavin?

· Lead commercial strategy across the U.S. and Canada.
