About the Role Fragomen's Business Immigration Consultant position will provide you with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our business and offer training, development, and long‐term growth opportunities. Providing world‐class client service and industry‐leading technology solutions, Fragomen helps clients navigate the complex world of global immigration to better achieve their goals. Responsibilities Perform substantive and client‐facing work, including case preparation and filing of employment‐based immigration petitions with government agencies. Gather, review, and draft documents; conduct case analysis; prepare clear, well‐organized written work products. Oversee case status through case management and billing systems, run reports, and assist with case reviews. Work with clients to intake cases, troubleshoot issues, establish case strategy, recommend solutions, and suggest process improvements. Communicate proactively with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses about case status or other general inquiries. Meet assigned deadlines, adhere to Service Level Agreements, and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to supervisors. Assist in the hiring and training of new team members and proactively identify ways to improve team productivity and office‐wide projects. Identify policy changes that may impact work and collaborate with leadership to incorporate changes into processes. Maintain fluency in case management and reporting tools and technologies used to manage data and information. Follow documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance, including data privacy protocols. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and regularly seek opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization of processes, products, or services. Qualifications Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate, plus a minimum of 4 years of business immigration experience. Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines. Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel. Desire to contribute to a positive work environment, effectively collaborate, and promote teamwork.
