The role:

The Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding qualified leads through in-depth 1:1 consultations via phone, in-person, and/or video call, identifying their needs, and presenting the best service options to convert them into clients. This role requires strong sales acumen, empathy, and critical thinking to build trust, handle objections, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.


Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Sales Consultant must effectively track their consultations, update client records in the lead management system, and follow up on previous consultations to drive conversions. They will also handle contract creation and process initial payments using the firm's payment platform.


The ideal person has a strong background in service-based sales within the legal industry, and possesses the adaptability and patience required for hour-long client discussions.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Client Consultations & Sales

  • Conduct one-on-one consultations with prospective clients via phone, video conference, and occasionally in person
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and recommend appropriate legal service options
  • Build trust through active listening, empathy, and professional communication
  • Address questions, concerns, and objections while helping clients make informed decisions
  • Consistently work toward consultation-to-client conversion goals


Client Onboarding & Follow-Up

  • Prepare and present service agreements with clarity and transparency
  • Process initial payments using the firm's payment platform
  • Follow up with prospective clients who have not yet retained the firm
  • Help ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients
  • Maintain consistent communication throughout the consultation and enrollment process


Pipeline Management & Team Collaboration

  • Accurately document consultations and client interactions within the lead management system
  • Maintain organized records and manage assigned consultations effectively
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to improve conversion strategies and client outcomes
  • Stay informed on the firm's services, processes, and immigration-related developments
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) - required
  • Experience in Immigration Law is preferred
  • If no immigration background, proven experience closing legal-service sales is required
  • Strong sales, consultation, and closing skills
  • Comfortable conducting extended client consultations lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour
  • Experience working with CRM or lead management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to build client trust
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM-5:30 PM CST and Saturdays from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM CST
  • Weekend coverage is required (Saturday only)
  • Sunday and one weekday off each week
