What this job involves -

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the facility and project management accounting for the Account. The Finance Manager will be responsible for general ledger activities in a high volume, fast paced, energized environment. This position must be able to interact effectively with both the internal and external client teams on a daily basis, specifically the Facility Managers, Project Managers, Finance staff and vendors.

What is your day to day?

  • Provide accurate financial information within deadlines, including month end reports, accruals, fundings, ad hoc analyses, budgets, forecasts and invoices to client and account management team as applicable.
  • Comply with all JLL Corporate requests in a timely fashion, including budget, forecast, revenue, audit requirements, tax, balance sheet and accounts receivable. Comply with quarterly attestation for key requirements such as revenue recognition and financial completeness.
  • Timely review and approval of the monthly IAS Oversight financial package including bank reconciliation submission by the Accounting Manager in order for reporting to be finalized within seven business days after general ledger cutoff to insure timely and accurate reporting to Client and comply with Client Accounting Services standards.
  • Properly document for approval all changes to the MSA and/or pricing exhibits that will have a financial or revenue recognition impact to JLL.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll and reimbursable expense billing to client
  • Streamline financial processes across the locations. Examples include reporting, consistent financial slides and decks for QBR and Governance meetings with the client.
  • Facilitate the compilation of the annual facility management expense budgets for each of the Client managed facilities. Customize budget templates to ensure consistent collection of all information. Consolidate, review, and prepare the final budget for communication to the appropriate managers and client.
  • Comply with all SOCR, JLL Policies and Procedures and JLL Best Practice requirements
  • Insure compliance with both Jones Lang LaSalle Global Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services SAS70 internal review standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in a range of information technology tools and platforms; including advanced Excel skills or Google Workspace (Sheets)
  • Strong financial/analytical skills with proven capabilities in financial modeling
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problems
  • Self-starter, team player, with ability to bring alternate points of view to the discussion and analysis
  • Advanced presentation and communication skills (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or CPA
  • Experience with SQL, PeopleSoft and/or JD Edwards
  • Experience with payroll billing and management

Estimated compensation for this position:

124,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
