The Orchard focuses on providing a comfortable, social, and engaging environment to encourage productivity and creativity.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Rights Management, the Coordinator, Rights Management will be responsible for quickly resolving rights issues pertaining to client content while providing high-level internal and external support. Specifically, they will work to resolve ownership conflicts and other rights-related issues on YouTube and other audio fingerprinting platforms.
What You'll Do:
  • Office- first role, in office 4 days a week.
  • Research and resolve rights-related issues, such as ownership conflicts, 3rd party claims, and user disputes.
  • Provide an extraordinary level of support internally and externally to ensure that rights-related issues are resolved immediately.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of proprietary platform technology (YouTube, Meta, TikTok, SoundCloud), along with the processes that pertain to it.
  • Review, update, and audit content maintained in YouTube's CMS and The Orchard's proprietary tools with a high level of detail, speed, and accuracy, all based on strict deadlines.
  • Work closely with team members and management, communicating issues and roadblocks pertaining to department projects and procedures.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Who You Are:
  • Experience in data entry, customer service, or legal fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
  • Well-organized and attentive to detail
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; impeccable follow-up and follow-through capabilities
  • Fluency in additional languages preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in a CMS (such as YouTube CMS, Facebook Rights Manager, or SoundCloud Deck) and customer service software (such as Zendesk) is a bonus, but not required
  • Experience with data analysis platforms (e.g. Looker) a bonus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of copyright and current popular music landscape

$48,000-$50,000 USD
