Position Summary

As a member of our Global Partnerships team, the Sales Manager, Global Partnerships will be responsible for driving new business development to achieve department revenue goals. This position will work hand in hand with the Director and Vice President of Global Partnerships to conduct research, build sponsorship strategy, perform targeted outreach, and cultivate brand-side relationships to bring value and profitability to OVG. The Sales Manager, Global Partnerships will work closely with OVG and Moody Center management. Located in Austin, Texas, this position will be responsible for generating revenue from local, regional, and national companies. We are looking for hard-working individuals with a passion for live entertainment and a track record of client success.

This role pays an annual salary of $70,000-$80,000 and is bonus eligible.

This position will remain open until September 25, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for establishing new business relationships to achieve annual revenue goals for Global Partnerships and Moody Center.
  • Work with Director of Sales to develop a strategic plan to drive revenue for Moody Center and any new projects that are assigned from the OVG Global Partnerships team.
  • Prospect, develop, and sell new integrated business partnerships to accomplish individual sales goals.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of all OVG GP clients and OVG properties/initiatives and be able to work toward integrating, aligning, and executing the Global Partnerships team sales goals.
  • Work with the full Global Partnerships team to identify and create partnership assets for designated OVG properties.
  • Develop innovative platforms and programs to drive incremental revenue for OVG.
  • Collaborate in the creation of sales materials.
  • Create and effectively maintain reporting documents in an organized manner.
  • Develop and track new revenue pipeline to present to leadership, ownership, etc. on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Monitor relevant market developments in the entertainment/sporting industry.
  • Attend networking and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional partners.
  • Provide a weekly Manager Report indicating the status of all business development and department administrative action items.
  • Network and create relationships while working efficiently in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Performs all other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5+ years of professional sponsorship experience in a high-performance sales environment; Sports, Entertainment and/or Arena Industry experience preferred.
  • Comfortable managing tight deadlines and meeting aggressive sales goals and expectations.
  • Proven success in establishing and meeting challenging sales objectives in a high-profile, competitive marketplace.
  • Strong selling skills with proven experience in pitch and strategic positioning.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Keynote, etc.) experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Kore is preferred.
  • Must possess problem-solving capabilities to address and resolve issues that face a growing enterprise.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable in both complex negotiations and sophisticated business situations.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, nonverbal, and written) and strong active listening skills.
  • Familiarity with the standard demographic research & analytics tools (i.e., Scarborough, Repucom, Zoominfo, SponsorUnited, YouGov, etc.) and ability to derive insights from the data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, events, and holidays as needed.
  • Available to travel as needed 10% expected.
