About Neto Capital
Neto Capital is a fast-growing FinTech company operating in the U.S. business financing space, building advanced technology infrastructure designed to make financing, underwriting, risk management, and reporting faster, smarter, more transparent, and more scalable.
The company combines financial and operational experience with data, automation, and AI/ML capabilities, and is developing a platform to manage financing processes end-to-end — from financial data collection and analysis, to data-driven decision-making, underwriting, portfolio management, operational controls, collections, investor reporting, and internal process optimization.
Neto Capital operates in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and family-oriented environment, with a focus on growth, innovation, operational excellence, and building systems that connect finance, technology, data, and operations. We are looking for smart, independent, and curious people who want to take part in building a growing company and help shape the next generation of business financing solutions.

Position Overview
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join Neto Capital's finance team — we welcome candidates across all experience levels, from those early in their finance career to seasoned professionals ready to take ownership of modeling, reporting, and strategic analysis. The scope of the role and level of responsibility will be tailored based on the candidate's experience.
This is an analytical, dynamic, and central role supporting the company's financial planning, portfolio performance, and investor reporting. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models, analyzing portfolio and company performance, preparing reports and forecasts, tracking KPIs, and supporting data-driven decisions across the company — with more experienced candidates taking the lead on modeling strategy, investor reporting, and cross-functional financial guidance.
As part of the role, the Financial Analyst will make ongoing use of the company's data and AI/ML-based tools to improve the speed, accuracy, and depth of financial analysis and reporting.
We are looking for someone who not only knows how to work with numbers, but also understands the story behind the data, identifies trends and irregularities, asks the right questions, thinks outside the box, and turns financial information into clear and practical insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and update financial models covering portfolio performance, cash flow, revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses for management.
  • Analyze portfolio performance, collections trends, and risk exposure in coordination with the Underwriting and Risk teams.
  • Track and report on key company and portfolio KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of investor and stakeholder reporting, including performance summaries and financial packages.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow planning, and financial forecasting processes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making across departments.
  • Identify inefficiencies, irregularities, and opportunities for improvement in financial processes and reporting.
  • Use the company's AI and data-driven tools on an ongoing basis to improve analysis quality, streamline reporting, and support faster decision-making, and help refine these tools based on real-world use.
  • Work with Excel / Google Sheets to build and maintain models, dashboards, reconciliations, and controls.
  • Use AI tools for information analysis, data organization, research, document summaries, and workflow improvement.
  • Partner with Underwriting, Risk, Operations, and company management to support company-wide financial visibility and planning.
  • Maintain accuracy, organization, and proper documentation of financial data, models, and reports.
  • Mentor, train, and support the development of newer team members as experience grows.
  • Contribute to the development of financial reporting processes, models, and internal controls as experience grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field — strong advantage.
  • Experience in a financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, banking, FinTech, or related analytical/financial role — required (open to candidates ranging from 1+ years to 5+ years of experience).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets — required, including financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical ability and ability to work with complex financial data.
  • Understanding of financial statements, cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting — depth of understanding scaled to experience level.
  • Experience using AI tools for analysis, summaries, research, checks, and process improvement — required.
  • Strong understanding of the connection between data, financial analysis, and business decision-making.
  • Fast and independent learning ability.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking and ability to identify irregularities, risks, and unusual patterns.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to communicate conclusions clearly and in an organized way, including to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment, personal responsibility, and discretion when working with sensitive financial information.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in FinTech, lending, business financing, investment analysis, or financial operations.
  • Experience with investor reporting or portfolio performance analysis.
  • Experience working with data-driven financial tools, automation, AI/ML, or BI/reporting platforms.
  • Prior experience mentoring, training, or leading other analysts.
  • Experience developing or contributing to financial reporting processes or internal controls.
  • Interest in AI-driven financial analysis, automation, and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems, CRM platforms, or underwriting tools.
  • Experience building models, dashboards, templates, or analysis reports in Excel / Google Sheets.

  • Opportunity to join a growing FinTech company and grow in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, at a pace that matches your experience.
  • Analytical and meaningful role with direct visibility into company and portfolio performance.
  • Work with AI/ML-based tools developed by the company as part of its technology infrastructure.
  • Close collaboration with Underwriting, Risk, Operations, Product, and company management.
  • Exposure to data, AI, automation, finance, and operations.
