Job Overview: IMCMV is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A) to lead financial forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business performance analysis across our multi-location restaurant and hospitality operations. This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering clear financial insights, driving operational efficiency, and supporting long-term strategic planning.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment and excels at partnering with operations, marketing, and executive leadership. This role also collaborates closely and communicates regularly with IMC’s headquarters in Brazil and requires bilingual fluency in English and Portuguese.


Position Description:

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting cycles for all restaurant and corporate cost centers.
  • Partner closely with Operations Directors and General Managers to develop accurate revenue, labor, and cost projections.
  • Build and enhance financial models to evaluate business performance, pricing strategies, menu changes, and new initiatives.
  • Coordinate with department and operational leaders to consolidate budget assumptions and present final budget recommendations to executive leadership.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with clear commentary on variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level reporting packages, including materials for the CEO, leadership team, lenders, investors, and the Board.
  • Analyze P&L performance across locations, identifying trends and key drivers impacting revenue, COGS, labor, and profitability.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and scorecards highlighting KPIs for leadership.
  • Drive standardization and consistency in financial reporting across the restaurant portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and consistency between reported results and planning assumptions.

Business Partnership & Strategic Support:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, HR, and BI teams to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide financial insights for menu engineering, marketing ROI, labor productivity, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Conduct scenario analyses for new restaurant openings, remodels, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a key liaison to headquarters in Brazil, ensuring clear, consistent communication and alignment on financial planning, reporting, and strategic priorities.

Process Improvement & Systems:

  • Implement improvements to financial processes, tools, and reporting systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Optimize use of ERP, BI dashboards, and forecasting tools.
  • Support the development of planning frameworks and financial governance standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-driven technologies to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate reporting, streamline financial workflows, and improve decision-making across the finance function.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and coaching in modeling, reporting, and business partnering.


Requirements:

Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of FP&A leadership experience.
  • Relevant background may also include Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting, in addition to direct FP&A experience.
  • Hospitality or multi-unit industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Retail, consumer products, or other multi-location business experience may also be considered.
  • Proven success supporting operations leaders with data-driven financial insights.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Language Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills (forecasting, scenario modeling, driver-based planning).

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, and BI tools (Power BI is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, cost structures, labor analysis, and revenue drivers.
