Role Overview

Under the supervision of the LTSA Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst Associate will be responsible for providing analytic support by maintaining, analyzing, and reporting key performance measures to the business unit management. This role requires the individual to work independently as well as part of the overall team, with a high level of initiative and motivation to ensure that deliverables are met. Major responsibilities include data mining and analysis to provide value-added insights that optimize processes through the use of various reporting and analytical tools. Additionally, this position will support the continued development of frameworks for evaluating and measuring operational and strategic performance, identifying key areas of focus, risk, and opportunity.

The Financial Analyst Associate will also be responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and comprehending LTSA (LongTerm Service Agreement) contracts to ensure contractual requirements, obligations, milestones, and financial terms are accurately understood and properly executed. This includes monitoring contract compliance, supporting contract-related financial analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure business activities align with contractual commitments.

  • Margin erosion analysis
  • Preparation of cost & revenue analysis
  • Participate in internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls
  • Review account reconciliationsย 
  • Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash flow analysis
  • Assist in the development of forecasts (both profit & loss and cash flow)
  • Support management review of financial statements with management personnel
  • Various ad hoc analysis and special projects as required
Requirementย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Actively enrolled in a four-year college or university and in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Finance/Accounting.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.ย  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.ย  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.ย  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Knowledge of accounting, database, manufacturing, project management, spreadsheet, word processing and email software.
