Job description

We are looking for a creative and highly organized Event Manager to help deliver memorable experiences for a growing portfolio of community programs, brand activations, showcases, and family-focused events in Seattle, Washington (including Greater Seattle area).


This role partners closely with production leadership to shape each event from early concept development through live execution, balancing design sensibility with strong operational follow-through. The ideal candidate brings a sharp visual eye, a strong grasp of guest experience, and the ability to keep multiple moving pieces aligned in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

โ€ข Develop event plans and production workflows that carry projects from concept through post-event wrap-up.

โ€ข Shape the visual direction of events by guiding dรฉcor, furnishings, lighting, styling, and overall environmental design.

โ€ข Create presentation materials such as mood boards, concept decks, layouts, and simple visual mockups to communicate ideas clearly.

โ€ข Translate creative concepts into actionable guidance for fabricators, rental partners, floral teams, audiovisual vendors, and other production collaborators.

โ€ข Coordinate vendors, rentals, scenic elements, signage, and branded materials to ensure a cohesive and well-executed final experience.

โ€ข Support installation, load-in, strike, and onsite event operations while maintaining timelines and resolving issues quickly.

โ€ข Lead select events in a producer capacity, directing onsite teams and ensuring smooth execution for guests and stakeholders.

โ€ข Monitor event details closely to strengthen flow, ambiance, and guest experience across a range of event formats.

โ€ข 3+ years of experience in event management, event production, experiential marketing, hospitality, festivals, or related live event environments.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to manage both creative development and operational execution for small to large-scale events.
โ€ข Strong visual communication skills with experience building decks, mood boards, layouts, or design references for event concepts.
โ€ข Hands-on experience working with external partners such as rental companies, fabricators, florists, lighting providers, AV teams, or scenic vendors.
โ€ข Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with confidence leading onsite during live events.
โ€ข Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Google Workspace, project management platforms, and Asana.
