Job description

Seasonal Event Parking Attendant - UW Huskies Football

Love football, working outdoors, and being part of a high-energy atmosphere? LAZ Parking is hiring Seasonal Event Parking Attendants to support University of Washington home football games this season.

As part of our game day team, you'll help create a smooth, welcoming experience for thousands of fans arriving on campus. From directing traffic to assisting guests and managing lot operations, you'll play a key role in making every game day a success.

This is a great opportunity for students, retirees, gig workers, or anyone looking for flexible, seasonal work in a fun and exciting environment.

Details: Candidates must be available morning, afternoon and evenings on Saturdays during football season, on the days the Huskies have a home game. Game days: 9/6 (SUNDAY), 9/12, 9/19, 9/26, 10/9, 11/7, 11/21

  • $24/hour
  • Seasonal/Event Based
  • Shifts are a minimum of 6 hours, often closer to 10 depending on the game
  • 7-8 home games this season those game days are the only days you'd work
  • We're looking for people who can work most, if not all, of the games
  • Bonus for anyone who works every game of the season
  • Referral bonus for referring someone who ends up working at least 4 games

What You'll Do

  • Welcome fans and provide exceptional customer service upon arrival
  • Scan digital parking passes and verify parking credentials
  • Direct vehicles safely and efficiently into designated parking areas
  • Assist guests with locating parking spaces and navigating campus lots
  • Monitor lot activity and communicate any issues to supervisors
  • Support traffic flow before, during, and after event operations
  • Assist with crowd management to help maintain a safe environment
  • Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth event execution
  • Represent LAZ Parking with professionalism and a positive attitude throughout each shift

What We're Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain a safety-focused mindset
  • No prior parking or event experience required; paid training provided

Physical Requirements

To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, candidates should be able to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift
  • Work outdoors in rain, wind, heat, cold, and other weather conditions
  • Bend, squat, reach, and move frequently throughout the day
  • Lift, push, and carry up to 10 pounds when necessary
  • Maintain awareness in active vehicle and pedestrian environments
